Animal Hospital Policies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. We do require rabies vaccination to be current under all circumstances.
For dogs boarding in our facility we require the following to be current: Rabies, 7-1, Bordatella, Canine Flu, Heartworm Test, Fecal, and deworming. For cats boarding in our facility we require the following to be current: Rabies, 4-1, Bordatella, Heartworm test, Fecal, and deworming. For avian/exotics we require fecal samples to be current. We do require physical exams prior to having a pet admitted for boarding to help screen out any medical issues that may be of concern. For geriatric patient, lab work or additional health maintenance screening may be recommended. If a patient has a medical issue, medical boarding services are available also.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, cash and personal checks.
Phone Hours Policy
For all in hospital patients, the doctors are available to speak via phone between the hours of 2-3pm Monday through Saturday and between the hours of 12pm-1pm for Sunday and holidays. We also may have additional communications based on the needs of the patient.
